An employee may have the right to receive and the employer may have the responsibility to pay overtime and minimum wage.
- Executive employees (including some managers who hire, fire, and promote employees);
- Administrative employees (including some executive assistants or HR managers who set or implement policies or individuals who have the authority to bind the company to major purchases);
- Professionals (including some teachers, doctors, musicians, and lawyers); and
- Outside Sales employees (including some who regularly work outside the employer’s place of business).
